January 2011 – June 2011: Geodynamic and active deformation laboratory, The University of Alabama, USA (supervisor: Timothy Masterlark). Objectives: Learning how to design and execute FEM-based and InSAR inverse analysis to calibrate volcano source parameters.

February 2010 – August 2010: Geodynamic and active deformation laboratory, The University of Alabama, USA (supervisor: Timothy Masterlark). Objectives: Learning the finite element software Abaqus, FEM design and simulation of quasi-static behavior of volcanoes.
